Our Client are currently recruiting for an Experienced Banqueting Manager to join their Team. This busy hotel is in a prime location on the Wild Atlantic Way and hosts over 120 weddings per year, the hotel is one of the most popular Wedding Venues in the Munster region and the reicipient of many awards including Overall Winner of the Wedding Venue of the Year Ireland, Weddings On Line Awards 2015 .
The Banqueting Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the banqueting department.To provide guests with a hotel and facilities maintained to the highest standard. To maximise profitability and identify new sources of revenue and product development. Efficiently manage a large team, by effective rostering, carrying out appraisals and goal setting, training and co-coordinating training plans, supervising of banqueting personnel and ensuring strong lines of communication are in place. You will also work closely with the Wedding Coordinator to ensure that all weddings are managed seamlessly.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banqueting management in a leading wedding venue. You must have a background in team training and customer service. Strong management skills are required for this role to include excellent communication, organising and planning skills.
