Sales & Events: M&E Office Manager - Galway
This stylish, full-service luxury four star in Galway is currently recruiting an M&E Office Manager. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role is responsible for maximising the revenue of the hotel’s conference / wedding space through effective management of the M&E team and budget.
This role will supervise all aspects of the M&E department from sales calls and client proposals to menu planning to smooth event operation on the day. Responsibilities will also include the management and development of the M&E team (annual reviews, target setting, training etc), and effective communication with all other hotel departments and teams as required.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in a similar M&E management role with a proven track record of success in meeting department targets and building an effective team. Above all, you will always strive to provide that stellar guest experience from first contact to finish.
