Job Title: Assistant Food & Beverage Director

Location: Munster

Salary: €38,000 – €40,000

This luxury Cork hotel resort is hiring an Assistant Food & Beverage Director to oversee the resort’s busy food and beverage operations. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing systems, procedures and the guest experience
  • Train and communicate with all Food & Beverage team members to ensure seamless service
  • Ensuring delivery of the highest level of customer service standards
  • Motivate and lead your team to deliver business objectives
  • Recruit and maintain a staffing level in accordance with business needs
  • Monitor weekly rostering to ensure maximum utilisation of staffing levels, in accordance with business needs
  • Review the team members’ performance to maximise their contribution to the hotel
  • Communicate and develop relationships with all interdepartmental teams around the resort
  • Liaise with the appropriate Head Chef to ensure all seasonal menu changes are implemented alongside all the necessary budgetary needs and training
  • Be aware of new trends and market influences

Candidate Profile:

  • Friendly manner and calm, confident personality
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and attention to detail
  • 3-5 years’ previous experience in a similar position at a 4 or 5 star busy property 
  • Excellent people management skills and the ability to deal with the pressures of day-to-day operational issues
  • Hands-on approach
