Job Title: Assistant Revenue and Reservations Manager

This recently renovated boutique property in central Dublin is currently recruiting an Assistant Revenue and Reservations Manager to join their Front of House team. This role reports directly to the General Manager. Key responsibilities within this role include:
- Maximise room revenue, occupancy percentage, and revenue par through yield management, revenue analysis, and tracking
- Maximize all sales opportunities through up-selling and additional sales, efficient recording of sales
- Be aware and analyse all forthcoming business on a regular basis, being aware of future business requirements and making plans accordingly
- Analyse overall Weekly / Monthly / Yearly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies
- Responsible for assessing new inquiries, preparing quotes and formal proposals, and/or for agreeing on rates to be quoted by individuals within the Hotel and the Venue
- Liaise with the Sales department regarding potential new business leads, ensuring that negotiated client agreements are delivered
- Ensure website booking process is maintained up-to-date and functional
- Accurately inputting & maintaining all reservations into the system
- Leading the Reception team in maximizing all available sales opportunities of hotel facilities and rates
- Proactively plan the Reception department's daily, weekly and annual operations based on hotel occupancy
- Ensure all staff are aware of hotel promotions or special activities
- Monitor that guest charges are being attributed and settled correctly
- Provide motivation and feedback to the reception team
- Liaise and communicate with other departments
- Liaise with customer complaints
The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience in a similar role at a Supervisory / Assistant Manager level within a quality hotel property in Ireland. Further candidate attributes include:
