This popular four star in Co Cork with excellent reputation for service is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to further increase the hotel's business opportunities (leisure, corporate and function) as well as a separate F&B business. With a primary focus on developing new business leads, the role has scope for further development to include the management of existing accounts and general sales activity. Please note own transport and full drivers licence required for this role. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced hotel sales professional with proven experience of developing a business growth strategy and action plan with strong track record of achieving/exceeding all goals and financial targets. Minimum of three years’ experience within the four star hotel market/ hospitality business (restaurants, pubs) preferred.

In addition to excellent negotiation and influencing skills, candidates must demonstrate genuine commitment to providing a personalised, memorable client experience. Must be able to work on own initiative as well as being a dedicated team player, working in conjunction with the sales and greater hotel teams as required.
