We are currently recruiting an experienced Catering Manager to be responsible for the overall culinary success of the on-site restaurant at this premium corporate client. This role will ensure that high quality food items are creatively well-prepared and presented in a cost-effective manner, meeting and/or exceeding the expectations of the client’s perceived value. Responsible for all financials, this role reports to the Operations Manager.

Overall responsibilities include:

• Successful implementation of GP targets and monthly reporting to site manager and client Implementation of company policies for procurement, sustainability, carbon footprint, food quality and food development
• Complete catering department/site walks and audits on food practices and HACCP
• Attend bi-weekly operational and food calls and report updates
• Responsible for successful operation and bedding in of new initiatives in regards to food, coffee innovation in technology etc
• Site improvements: liaise with site FM and obtain updates on client activities and issues
• Implement change programme where necessary
• Work closely with the culinary team, contributing to the development and direction of client services
• Motivate, train, develop and direct team to accomplish the objectives of the operation and maintain a positive relationship with the client
• Work directly with the Culinary Director on new food development, food standards, costings, HACCP and Health & Safety

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience as Catering Manager of a large client site with a proven track record of achieving all financial targets. Further candidate attributes include:
