Job Title: C&B Manager

This luxury four star hotel in Co Carlow is currently recruiting a C&B Manager to be responsible for the management and coordination of all weddings, functions and events. Key responsibilities within the role include:

  • Management, development and coordination of the C&B team
  • Ensuring consistent, quality delivery of C&B services
  • Liaising with customers and Sales team to ensure smooth operations as well as total client satisfaction
  • Ensure all guest requests and queries are dealt with promptly, liaising with other hotel depts as required
  • Be informed on the introduction of products, ensuring standards are adhered to
  • Assist with compilation of C&B budget
  • Maintain department checklists and SOPs
  • Wage forecasting on a weekly basis
  • Duty Management shifts as required

The ideal candidate will have a background in high volume C&B/F&B management within 4/5 star properties. Further desired qualities include:

  • Experience in the Irish market
  • Excellent people management skills with experience managing large teams
  • Genuine passion for food and service and the ability to innovate in this area
  • Strong focus on client and customer service
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
