This recently renovated Dublin five star hotel is currently recruiting a Corporate & Group Sales Manager to maximise all corporate transient and MICE opportunities. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Executive looking to step up into their first manager role at a prime Dublin property.

Key role responsibilities:

  • Ensure monthly corporate, group, residential event revenues are achieved
  • Proactive sales activities to grow corporate & group revenues to the hotel – targeted proactive sales calls, site inspections, fam trips etc
  • Undertake weekly proactive sales activity to qualified clients/leads
  • Manage online corporate RFP & MICE platforms/content etc
  • Assist with annual Sales & Marketing planning and deliver monthly activity plan & forecast for management
  • Develop new revenue opportunities for the hotel.  
  • Attend sales events in UK and other markets as required
  • Manage the administration of VIP groups at the hotel in conjunction with DOSM and Resident Manager
  • Regular competitor analysis to ensure product offering is relevant
  • Management of database and co-operate with Digital Marketing Executive for direct marketing campaigns
  • Host client events on bi-monthly basis in conjunction with sales team  
  • Maintain the highest level of communication internally and externally in line with hotel brand

The ideal candidate will have at least one years’ experience as Sales Executive, preferably within the Dublin hotel market. Must also be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in proactive sales, achieving targets and extending great customer care to clients 
  • Proven track record of excellent attention to detail in terms of reporting, forecasting, database management and event detail
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written – fluent written and spoken English is essential
  • Creative approach to selling – ability to think outside the box in a very competitive market
  • Ability to work on own initiative once guidance is given in a fast-paced environment  
  • Ability to manage and prioritise activities on multiple projects with minimal supervision
