Job Title: Deputy General Manager
Salary: €45,000 – €50,000+
This luxury four star property with breath-taking location on the south coast now seeks an energetic, hands-on Deputy GM to help maintain and develop a profitable, customer-driven hotel as well as a philosophy of sincere four star service, creating a working environment that leads to personnel retention and development.
This role coordinates and handles all operational issues and reviews all weekly business and relevant guest information for incoming and in-house guests. Special focus areas of the role include:
- Redevelop training and motivational programs in conjunction with management team to improve operational standards throughout the hotel and highlight unique aspects of the product offering.
- Review hotel’s business centres and develop sales drives/initiatives for these centres.
- Be responsible for the efficient and effective allocation of human resources. Develop a working environment that is both progressive and attractive to present and future employees.
- Monthly Management meetings and effective monitoring of sales initiatives and costs.
The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience in a senior operations role within a four star property with a positive, professional outlook to operational management.
We are looking for strong Food & Beverage operations experience, standards and service-driven attitude coupled with a modern, understanding, innovative approach to human resources and training. Must be results-driven and able to use own initiative and emotional intelligence to drive standards, staff motivation and retention.
