Job Title: Director of Sales & Marketing

We are currently recruiting a highly experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to confidently lead the hotel sales strategy at this luxury estate property in Co Meath. In addition to managing the Sales & Events dept, the DOSM is responsible for guiding the total hotel team into a full understanding of the business and driving a sales culture throughout the hotel.  

This role offers flexible work options including a four day week and hybrid work model. Key role responsibilities include:


  • Draw up annual Sales & Marketing Plan in line with with revenue KPIs, budgets & hotel resources
  • Manage the Sales & Marketing dept: setting budget, monitoring performance and activities, providing training and development
  • Recommend new business targets for the hotel (key accounts, new markets etc)
  • Achieve all sales goals as per sales plan (room nights, rate, new business etc)
  • Sales reporting
  • Give Sales training to other hotel departments


  • Develop hotel’s online and offline marketing, brand and public relations strategy
  • Oversee PR activities, ensuring hotel brand is being promoted inline with strategy
  • Develop the advertising strategy for the hotel in line with hotel budget
  • Oversee online marketing of brand website, social channels and brand presence across all online platforms
  • Ensure all sales & marketing material for the hotel are in line with brand strategy and are fit for purpose
  • Manage and produce marketing material for hotel in line with budgets and brand standards
  • Manage sponsorship and promotion deals
  • Ensure the hotel continues to achieve awards and accolades to support marketing campaign
  • Develop on-site promotional activities to support publicity, local awareness and key client entertainment
  • Develop brand personality, tone of voice, and ensure this is implemented in all communication channels

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing of a luxury hotel property and will have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Irish market. Must have a proven track record of achieving/exceeding all sales targets, demonstrating in-depth understanding of sales at both operational and management levels. Further attributes include:
