Job Title: Event Coordinator

Location: Dublin

Salary: €30,000 – €35,000

This boutique four star property seeks an experienced Event Coordinator to oversee their events service, maintaining current business as well as developing new relationships for the hotel. Key responsibilities within this role include:

  • Overseeing the client experience from initial enquiry to post event stage
  • Ensuring up to date knowledge of all hotel products, services and promotions
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement, closing sales and securing with deposits in line with company procedures
  • Giving show-arounds to potential clients of functions & events
  • General event admin: signage, setup lists, daily and weekly planners, function sheets
  • Liaising with relevant hotel depts on all event requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ previous experience in a similar role within a four star hotel.  You will demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills with strong IT and systems knowledge. In addition, you will be a skilled communicator (both written and verbal) with a genuine customer-first approach.
