Job Title: Events Coordinator

We have an exciting role with this prestigious organisation for a super star Events Coordinator. Offering three different venues for hire on site, they now require someone who will be operations focused and able to manage multiple revenue streams.  Based on site, the Events Coordinator will play a key role in increasing external revenue through effective venue hire and event management. Key responsibilities will include:

  • General management/maintenance of the facilities
  • Quality assurance: ensure consistent levels of customer service across the whole team, regularly seek customer feedback and respond accordingly, ensure staff are aware of all company and H&S standards
  • Customer service: venue liaison, general enquiries, site inspections, customer complaints
  • Event management: organise and coordinate all bookings across the various venues
  • Retail management: product sourcing, stock management, stock takes, achieving monthly sales targets
  • Administration of FOH team: team management, training and rotas
  • General administration: assisting with proposals/contracts, office reporting, bookings calendar, social media management, website content maintenance
  • Finance: invoicing, floats, lodgments, reports (strong Excel skills required)
  • Familiarity with sports and/or theatre-based events an advantage

The successful candidate will be an expert multi-tasker with at least three years’ experience in an event coordination role. Will demonstrate keen commercial and financial acumen with a solid track record of meeting targets. Must be a proven team leader with excellent interpersonal and communications skill.
