Job Title: Executive Head Chef

Location: Ulster

Salary: €65,000 – €70,000

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing culinary operations in 2 kitchens servicing a busy restaurant, high volume brasserie and banqueting for up to 300 guests. 

The successful candidate must have:

  • 3 years’ experience of Executive Head Chef in similar type of hotel
  • Level 3 Supervising Food Safety 
  • Worked in a hotel environment with banqueting of 100+ covers
  • Ability to work at speed and in high volume situations in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining quality
  • Ability to control 2 different styles of restaurants
  • Demonstrate good leadership skills in the kitchen
  • Excellent and innovative culinary and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Forward planner who can prevent wastage
  • Ability to write and cost menus that are both creative and profitable
  • Good financial understanding with the ability to work to budget and cost accurately
  • Be flexible, organised and a good leader with a can-do attitude
  • Energetic, passionate, driven and ambitious
  • Full understanding of Health & Safety Practices
