We’re looking for an exceptional and passionate Front Office Manager to join the team of this super cool accommodation brand known for its innovation and creativity wrapped up in chic design and partnered with a genuine, friendly welcome.

They now seek a like-minded Front Office Manager to be responsible for overseeing, leading and controlling all Front Office operations to deliver an excellent guest experience. This will include:

  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure a truly unique experience is created
  • Strive to continuously “raise the bar” by improving standards of performance, redefining the hostel experience by achieving outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local legislation and regulations
  • Control payroll and all department costs
  • Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Front of House Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately in all directions so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them
  • Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Room Division Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
  • Ensure that the team remains up to date with all local, national and international trends
  • Be commercially savvy in exploring new revenue streams

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within a hotel/accommodation provider with experience in cash handling, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks (familiarity with at least one Property Management System required).

You will also have a genuine passion for hospitality and the youth travel market, demonstrating excellent customer service skills as well as strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, train and develop crew members. Must have fluent English, written and verbal, second language an advantage.
