This popular five star hotel in Dublin combining elegant grandeur with contemporary facilities seeks a guest-focused, career-dedicated Front Office Manager to oversee the smooth operation of the department, achieving total guest satisfaction and meeting room revenue goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Team management: rostering, training, supervising and motivating members, ensuring excellent standards of service are delivered at all times   
  • Interdepartmental cooperation: working closely with Engineering, Accommodation, Reservations and Duty Management
  • Initiate activities to improve guest service and efficiency in Front Office operations
  • Ensure own proficiency in all Front Office procedures to be a resource when needed
  • Analyse departmental financial reports and take corrective action and follow-up
  • Check accuracy of night audit function, including checking and revising of source of business report
  • Challenge front office staff to utilise yield management, occupancy and average room rate to maximise rooms revenue
  • Grow loyalty program, recognising all members and ensuring that every guest is invited to join
  • Work closely with Rooms Division Manager on delivering all financial KPI’s and Yield Management

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience as Front Office / Reception Manager of a large 4/5 star property. Key candidate attributes include:
