Job Title: Unit Manager
Our client is looking for a new Unit Manager with a positive, can do attitude who leads by example, is a team player, and has a high level of enthusiasm and passion for food, service, and sales. The Unit Manager is a senior role, liaising with the Key Account Manager on a regular basis, for ongoing upkeep and improvement in all areas of the Unit.
The role requires operational, financial and people management along with communication and business development and a critical awareness of food hygiene standards being kept within the site at all times.
The successful candidate will have:
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and legislation
- Good working knowledge & experience of HACCP and ISO systems and procedures
- Knowledge of a variety of cuisines and food trends
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practice
- Strong operational, business and financial skills
- Strong organisational & planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – spoken and written
- Proven leadership skills
