This innovative Irish hotel group enjoys an ever-growing reputation for exceptional levels of service and hospitality. They now seek a Group Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the Sales & Marketing function at the national level, directing strategic growth and business expansion alongside the executive team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop new business in line with strategic growth plans.
  • Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies through the preparation of a sales plan.
  • Implementation and administration of the Sales & Marketing budget.
  • Maintain excellent communication and work relationships with internal & external customers.
  • Ensure M&E revenue is maximized at all times
  • Comply with GDPR policy at all time and be a lead partner in the GDPR team.
  • Measure and track sales and marketing activities & impact.
  • Develop company marketing strategy in line with company objectives.
  • Co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
  • Maintain brand management and corporate identity.
  • Oversee online and print marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
  • Oversee all marketing platforms including digital, online, print for the company and activities within the department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ previous experience in a senior Sales & Marketing role within quality hotel establishments. Key candidate attributes include:
