Job Title: Group Reservations Manager

This Irish hotel group proudly features a vast portfolio of quality properties all across the island of Ireland. They now require a Group Reservations Manager to ensure the delivery of a top class reservations experience for all their guests. Key areas of responsibility within this role include call centre management, systems and hotel support:
Call centre management:
- Lead by example, maintaining a strong motivational environment through positive communication, passion and creativity
- Train and develop the Reservations Team to ensure the constant delivery of excellent guest and customer service
- Evaluate and motivate a bustling call centre team to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximized
- Ensure the efficient management of the reservations department, implementing best practices and SOPs
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required
- Help promote a revenue management culture
Systems:
- Operate and manage central reservations system, including channel manager and PMS integrations
- Assist with the solicitation and loading of rates on the sales channels
- Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity
Hotel support:
- Provide ongoing Reservations & Systems support to hotel staff and management as required
- Maintain and develop key relationships with hotels and 3rd party partners to drive revenue performance
- Communicate all important and relevant information to hotels
The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience as Reservations Manager in a 4/5 star property / hotel group call centre, hospitality qualification an advantage. Will also demonstrate/be:
- Passionate and guest-focused with consistent, high standards of service
- Keen problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Skilled communicator and relationship builder (fluent English written and verbal required)
- Strong influencing skills
- Strong systems knowledge (MS Office, PMS, channel managers, integration technology)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
