Job Title: Group Revenue Manager

This innovative tour operator offering memorable, unique tours across Europe prides itself on its exceptional customer service as well as its unforgettable tourist experiences. They now require a Group Revenue Manager to implement sound revenue management strategies, procedures and best practices across the business. Key responsibilities within this role include:
- Manage day-to-day yield operations
- Work with Destination Management teams to optimize pricing/profitability for each tour departure
- Work with the Purchasing team to accurately forecast venue ticket needs, maximizing ticket utilization at each venue
- Work with the Distribution team to optimize distribution partnerships, including inventory allocation, and analyze profitability by sales channel
- Work with the finance team on analyzing the monthly margin report and recommend actions for optimization
- Analyze and report booking pace for major tours on a regular basis and after pricing adjustments
- Challenge and influence teams to improve service levels and operational standards
- Inspire company leadership to further embed a revenue management culture
- Other duties as assigned by management
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or Economic Studies and will have at least five years’ experience as Revenue Manager of a large hotel with multiple revenue streams, group experience an advantage. Key candidate attributes include:
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal English - additional languages an advantage
- Good presentation skills as well as the ability to influence and persuade
- High-level command of Excel and MS Office Suite
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization applications
- Goal-oriented and target-driven approach
- Sound ability and knowledge to develop standards of operations and strategic processes
- Good analytical and numeric skills
- Ability to work independently in a highly pressured environment
- Good listening skills and the ability to develop relationships and collaborate well with internal stakeholders
- Capacity to read situations, understand and respond to rapidly changing conditions, and anticipate business needs
- Excellent prioritization skills
