They now require an experienced Head Chef to ensure the continued delivery of a top notch food offering and smooth kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations including menu planning, recipe development and food preparation
- Lead and mentor kitchen team, training them to deliver high standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage inventory, order supplies and control food costs
- Ensure compliance with all kitchen regulations, ie HACCP, H&S, Fire etc
- Ensure a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as Head Chef in a quality dining establishment (restaurant, gastrobar)
- Proven leader with positive, effective management style
- Proven track record in the creation and execution of a quality menu
- Proven track record in profitable management of kitchen financials
- Keen interest in culinary trends and latest techniques
- Full knowledge of all relevant kitchen legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with committed team spirit
