Job Title: Head of Marketing

We have a fabulous role as Head of Marketing & Comms available with this innovative, luxury urban resort. With a growing reputation as a style-led destination offering truly unique guest experiences, they are now targeting the high-end, international Leisure market. To this end, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for the development and implementation of the hotel’s marketing and PR strategy, as well as the co-ordination and management of all marketing campaigns, events and sponsorships.

Overall responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels
  • Work in conjunction with the Sales, Digital Marketing and Revenue Team to increase all revenue streams, attracting new business with an effective and clear marketing message both offline and digitally for the hotel
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Team in promoting and marketing the hotel on both a national and an international level to raise the brand profile of the hotel, to retain existing business and develop new business
  • Support the development and implementation of clear marketing campaigns with online and offline strategies
  • Oversee and monitor all online and digital content
  • Regular reporting including “Quarterly Marketing Content Calendar” and annual marketing and PR plans for the hotel

The successful candidate will hold a Marketing qualification and will have a minimum of four years’ experience in a similar management role. Further candidate attributes include:

  • International five star marketing experience (UK/Europe/USA)
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with web management, CMS, e-commerce and public relations  
  • Customer-focused
  • Willingness to assist a team environment and adapt to challenges
  • Strong understandings of financials, KPI’s and budget processes
  • Knowledge of the international high-end hotel marketplace
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and creating campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and communication
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
