This leading hospitality venue in Dublin is seeking a visionary Head Chef to lead culinary operations at a large, multifaceted location known for premium intimate dining experiences and high-end events.
With two fully equipped kitchens, this is a unique opportunity for a creative, hands-on leader who thrives in both daily service and bespoke event execution.
What You’ll Do:
Menu Innovation & Culinary Direction
- Design and deliver seasonal, high-quality menus across à la carte dining and private events
- Balance creativity with consistency, quality and guest expectations
- Stay ahead of culinary trends and bring fresh ideas to the table
Operational Oversight
- Lead the daily operations of two kitchens to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Implement systems that support quality control, food safety and workflow optimization
- Ensure strict compliance with all HACCP and food safety regulations
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train and mentor a high-performing kitchen team
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular team briefings and development sessions
Event & Client Collaboration
- Work closely with events and front-of-house teams to execute custom food experiences
- Adapt menus to meet dietary requirements and client requests
- Maintain high standards of presentation and service quality
Budget & Inventory Management
- Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, inventory and supplier relationships
- Control waste and maintain profitability without compromising standards
- Negotiate with vendors and monitor industry pricing
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Head or Executive Chef with a steady background in high-volume, premium venues
- Strong culinary skills across multiple cuisines (experience with tapas is a plus)
- Hands-on leader with excellent organizational and communication abilities
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen compliance
