Job Title: Pastry Chef - Cork
Salary: €28,000 – €32,000
We are currently recruiting for a creative and innovative Pastry Chef for a busy 4 Star Hotel in Co Cork. This person will be responsible for the overall operation of the pastry department. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised, efficient and a strong knowledge of costings would be beneficial.
They will also need to have a strong background in baking as well as patisserie to include afternoon tea. Good exposure to both modern and traditional baking methods is key.
Production experience and dealing with high volume whilst maintaining quality is extremely important in this role.
We are looking for a pastry chef with a creative flair who stands out from the crowd and has their finger on the pulse in terms of pastry and baking trends. If you were a strong multi-tasker, with personal initiative and experience managing a team in a fast pace environment then this is the role for you.
This role would involve working five days a week.
