Job Title: Restaurant Manager

We are currently recruiting a vibrant Restaurant Manager committed to driving excellent service standards for this favourite dining destination known for its flavour-filled menu and enticing cocktail selelction. This role is responsible for the operational performance of the restaurant and reports to the owner.

Further responsibilities include:

  • Assess and help improve profitability
  • Implement and maintain SOP’s
  • Work in tandem with the owners to ensure guest experience levels are continuously improved
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints
  • Meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices
  • Attend weekly management meetings to develop strategic focus with the owners
  • Recruit, manage and motivate staff
  • Train all staff in line with company procedures and policies, handling staff appraisals
  • Continually monitoring and developing the beverage & wine list, working with suppliers, attending trade events etc.
  • Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
  • Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales
  • Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef
  • Coordinate the operation of the restaurant ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene and health & safety
  • Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash
  • Comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements
  • Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant

The ideal candidate will have at least have two years’ experience as Restaurant/Bar Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume F&B environment with strong focus on service standards. Further candidate requirements include:
