Job Title: Restaurant Manager
We are currently recruiting an energetic Restaurant Manager with solid high-volume experience for this very popular Dublin restaurant. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations resulting in an excellent guest experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure adherence to all SOPs, implementing new procedures as required to ensure effective restaurant operation
- Engage in effective communications with head chef and key staff to ensure smooth continuity in service delivery.
- Monitor and manage budgets through cost-effective operation (ie rostering, stock control etc).
- Oversee all event management, ensuring a smooth event experience from start to finish.
- Lead by example, fostering positive work culture.
- Carry out team appraisals, training & development, mentoring opportunities.
- Ensure all customer issues are handled promptly and effectively.
- Maintain good supplier relations, overseeing contracts and ensuring product quality.
- Be aware of industry trends and best practices and advise management accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in restaurant management in large, high-volume destinations with strong function business. Must be a highly organised manager and talented people leader with strong financial acumen, solid P&L experience and good IT skills.
