This busy four-star hotel in Co Meath is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead its Food & Beverage team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic hospitality professional looking to progress their career in a high-volume, quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and high-standard service.
- Manage bookings, guest relations, and service flow to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
- Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant team to maintain service excellence and adherence to SOPs.
- Monitor and control operational and labour costs in line with budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Manage cash handling, tills, and financial reporting for the department.
- Maintain accurate stock levels for wines, crockery, glassware, and other service items.
- Collaborate with management and marketing teams to promote services and upsell to guests.
- Prepare and manage staff rosters based on business levels and forecasts.
- Handle guest feedback, staff issues, and operational challenges professionally and proactively.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum five years’ experience in hospitality, with three years in a management role.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Additional certifications (e.g. HACCP, Management, WSET Level 2) an advantage.
