Sales & Marketing Manager

We are looking for a proven, strategically-minded hospitality sales professional for this leading luxury country estate in the northeast of Ireland. The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies to maximise revenue across accommodation, weddings, events, dining & leisure experiences. This role is available on a hybrid basis with four days remote, one day in the office (according to business requirements).
Key responsibilities:
Sales:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue across all key revenue streams.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Conduct sales calls and site inspections, including networking events, workshops and FAM trips.
Marketing:
- Strengthen the company brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
- Work closely with external agencies, photographers and designers to create compelling promotional content.
- Manage the website, ensuring optimal user experience and regular content updates.
- Implement digital marketing strategies including social media to communicate offers and drive ROI through the hotel's website. Monitor performance and liaise with third party partners and hotel stakeholders to improve performance.
- Work with the DOSM on overall marketing strategy and digital direction for the property and take the lead on ad hoc projects as required.
Revenue & Performance Management:
- Work closely with the Rooms Division Manager and Reservations Team to optimise pricing strategies and occupancy rates.
- Monitor customer feedback and market insights to enhance guest experience and refine marketing approaches.
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role within the luxury hospitality, tourism, or events sector.
- Third-level qualification or equivalent degree holder.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems and revenue management tools.
- Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies that deliver measurable revenue growth.
- Strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
- A passion for luxury hospitality and the ability to create meaningful experiences for guests and clients.
- Full clean driving licence and own car.
