Job Title: Conference & Banqueting Coordinator

Location: Dublin

Salary: €30,000 – €32,000

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Conference & Banqueting Coordinator. You will become part of a cohesive team in a well-regarded establishment. 

Main Duties will include:

  • Taking bookings for meetings, weddings and events, maximising revenue at every opportunity
  • Handling all guest queries in relation to meetings and events bookings
  • Communicating any special requests to specific departments
  • Handling the full cycle of booking from initial enquiry to billing
  • Contract negotiation with corporate clients
  • Targeted sales calls to corporate bookers
  • Conducting show arounds with perspective clients
  • Attending wedding fairs and trade shows as required

The successful candidate will:

  • Experience in a similar role in a 4* hotel
  • Be self-motivated and sales focused
  • Experience using a PMS would be a distinct advantage
  • Possess strong communication, planning and organisational skills
  • Have an excellent telephone manner
  • Be a team player
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
