Job Title: Senior Duty Manager
Salary: €28,000 – €30,000
This role will suit an ambitious candidate who has experience in either Front Office or Food & Beverage and who is looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervision of all departments in the Hotel while working closely with the departmental managers.
While the hotel is seasonal, the position would be full time with an immediate start until November, and then it would be 3 days per week from mid-November to mid-March.
The Ideal Candidate for this position will have:
- 1 to 2 years' minimum experience working in a managerial role in hospitality
- Experience using a PMS system would be an advantage (Hotel uses Opera)
- Must be able to work on own initiative and have the ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Sales skills to upsell the hotel’s product and services where possible
- Good background in the understanding of food & beverage operations
- A true love of hospitality and providing a genuine warm welcome to all guests
