Job Title: Senior Sous Chef
Salary: €42,000 – €45,000
This boutique style hotel in Co Clare is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.
You will work alongside the Head Chef and assist them in managing the kitchen, maintaining high standards, and focusing on improving the culinary delivery.
This role would suit somebody who is organised, driven, energetic and passionate about good food and staff training at all levels.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a minimum of two to five years’ experience working as a Sous Chef within either a four or five star hotel kitchen or in a high-quality restaurant and bar food environment.
- Have a passion for the food industry in general in particular using local products and sustainable practices.
- Have the ability to come up with creative and exciting new dishes
- Possess good leadership capabilities, including the ability to coach team members on the job
- Hold a good understanding of how to monitor and influence food costs within the operation
- Have the ability to maintain high operating standards and consistency across the kitchen
