Job Title: Senior Sous Chef - Co. Cork

Location: Munster

Salary: €35,000 – €40,000

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Sous Chef with a background in banqueting in a 4 star+ property.  Must have proven culinary and management skills in working with a large kitchen team. This role will manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

You must have strong culinary and management skills to work with the kitchen team and the desire to create and develop new menu options in conjunction with the Executive Chef

Reporting to the Head Chef, the ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Ensures the highest standard of food during service by assisting the Head Chef & General Manager in all areas of kitchen operations,
  • Have passion for food & fresh produce,
  • Excellent knowledge of Cost of Goods,
  • Enjoy being creative & designing new dishes,
  • Ensures proper staffing and adequate supplies for all stations,
  • Supervises the proper set-up of each item on menus and insures their readiness,
  • Oversees the prep work and appearance of food service in the operation,
  • Assists in organising & designing new menu's according to the season,
