Job Title: Senior Sous Chef - Dublin City Centre

Location: Dublin

Salary: €40,000 – €45,000

There are great things to come in this operation with a new concept being offered in the coming months that will be new to the Irish food scene.

Reporting to the Head Chef, the ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Ensures the highest standard of food during service by assisting the Head Chef & General Manager in all areas of kitchen operations,
  • Have passion for food & fresh produce,
  • Excellent knowledge of Cost of Goods,
  • Enjoy being creative & designing new dishes,
  • Ensures proper staffing and adequate supplies for all stations,
  • Supervises the proper set-up of each item on menus and insures their readiness,
  • Oversees the prep work and appearance of food service in the operation,
  • Assists in organising & designing new menu's according to the season,
  • Encourages increased communication between kitchen production and service staff,
  • Works closely and regularly with the Head Chef and takes every opportunity to become familiar with all aspects of his or her position, in order to be ready to fill in whenever required
