Job Title: Sous Chef

This very popular hotel in Co Louth is currently recruiting a Sous Chef to assist in ensuring an excellent quality food offering, supporting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the Head Chef in providing excellent food & service.
  • Menu design and implementation.
  • Assisting with the creation of signature dishes to suit guests’ needs.Training and supervision of the kitchen team.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

  • Help maintain kitchen equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ previous experience as Sous Chef / Sr Chef de Partie, third level qualification an advantage. Must have strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
