Great opportunity for a highly experienced Sous Chef with this top four star property with busy events department. This role assists in ensuring a top quality food offering and smooth daily operations in the kitchen.
Key responsibilities:
- Kitchen management: rostering, purchasing, stock control, deliveries, HACCP/hygiene etc
- Team training and development
- Understanding of all financial targets (GP, payroll, costs etc)
- Collaboration with other hotels depts/managers as required
- Ensure efficient, top quality food preparation and waste management
The successful candidate:
- At least three years’ experience as Sous Chef in a large 4/5 star hotel
- Must have high-end/high-volume banqueting experience
- Proven team leader and motivator with strong training skills
- Excellent culinary skills
- Thorough HACCP and H&S knowledge
